Thomas Fence builds the fence and hangs the gate across Northwest Arkansas, from Springdale since 1993.

Cedar, vinyl, chain link, ornamental steel and Buckley farm rail, then the gate that opens it, automated by a Certified Gate Automation Technician. Greg and Kate Paschal have owned the company since 2003.

The gate at the end of the run

One contractor for the fence, the gate and the motor that swings it.

Thomas Fence installs the fence and the gate automation as one package, with one contractor: swing, cantilever and pivot operators, solar power where no line runs, keypads and access control, and repair on the operators we install.

What the run is made of

Six materials, one crew that sets every post in concrete.

Pick the fence for what it has to do. Your estimator walks the property line with you, explains the trade-offs and writes it all into the contract.

Also on the trailer

Beyond back yards, the crews fence water towers and ballfields, rail school steps and bike trails, and set temporary panels on job sites across Benton and Washington counties.

The price we quote is the price you pay.

Your final invoice matches the estimate. No line items appear after the fact, and nothing is due before the crew has finished a standard job.

All FAQs

Typically 1 to 3 weeks from the time you accept the fence quote. There is always a two full business day window to complete the required underground utility locate (811), and a project manager calls one to two days before crews arrive.

Thomas Fence calls 811 (One Call) on every job. It is required by Arkansas state law before any digging begins, so you don't need to do anything for this step.

Privately owned lines are not marked by the One Call system. That includes septic systems, irrigation lines, outbuilding electrical, and private pool or gas lines. If you have any of these, please identify their locations before installation begins.

Not in every city. Seven Northwest Arkansas cities require a fence permit: Bella Vista, Bentonville, Gravette, Gentry, Lincoln, Prairie Grove and Tontitown. Springdale, Rogers, Fayetteville and Siloam Springs do not. Pulling the permit is the property owner's responsibility, and we're happy to walk you through your city's process.

No deposit is required for standard installations. The exception is special order materials or custom metal work, which may require a deposit. Thomas Fence prefers to wait until the work is complete before requesting payment.

Yes. Concrete is standard practice on every Thomas Fence installation unless otherwise agreed upon in writing before the job begins.

No. Staining is not a service Thomas Fence provides, and we're happy to refer you to staining companies in the area. Cedar can be stained right after installation; pressure-treated pine should dry 1 to 3 months first.

Every installation carries a one-year craftsmanship warranty, provided in writing in your contract. Ornamental steel panels also carry a lifetime residential warranty from the manufacturer.
