VINYL FENCE · SPRINGDALE & NORTHWEST ARKANSAS

Commercial-grade vinyl fences that never need paint, set in concrete across Northwest Arkansas

Vinyl privacy, semi-privacy and picket fences for homes and businesses, installed by the crew at Thomas Fence in Springdale since 1993.

Chapter 01

Why cheap vinyl fails and what we install instead

Northwest Arkansas gives a fence hot summers, wet springs and the occasional ice storm. Vinyl handles that mix better than wood. It will not warp, crack or soak up moisture, and it never rots or splinters.

The grade of the vinyl is the first thing that separates one fence from another. Thomas Fence installs commercial-quality, UV-stabilized vinyl, not the lower-grade materials found at big-box stores. It is not immune to impact damage, but under normal residential use it keeps its color and shape for many years.

The second thing is the post. Vinyl relies on a solid foundation to stay plumb and resist wind load over time, so every post is set in concrete unless the contract says otherwise.

Colors, styles and heights chosen before a post is set

Vinyl is not only white. Thomas Fence installs white, tan, gray and woodgrain finishes in several panel configurations. Full privacy panels give you a solid wall with no gaps. Semi-privacy panels let air and light through while still marking the line, which suits front yards, pool surrounds and properties with HOA limits on solid fencing. Decorative picket styles give a clean, traditional look at lower heights.

We help you settle color, style and height before the crew digs. Call (479) 636-4732 and an estimator measures the property, usually quoting within a day or two. Sign the contract and the job is typically scheduled within 1 to 3 weeks.

Before any digging, the office calls 811 to mark underground utilities, and a 2 full business day locate window applies under state law. Most residential vinyl fences take 2 to 3 business days to install. No deposit is required on standard jobs.

Chapter 03

Keeping it clean, and what the warranty covers

Aftercare is a garden hose. An occasional rinse or a light pressure wash is all vinyl needs. There is no painting, no staining and no rot treatment, which is why homeowners who are tired of wood upkeep choose it.

Every vinyl fence carries a written 1-year workmanship warranty from Thomas Fence. The panels and posts also carry their own manufacturer warranties, which vary by product line, and your estimator can give you the specifics for the product you pick.

Permits belong to the property owner. Bella Vista, Bentonville, Gravette, Gentry, Lincoln, Prairie Grove and Tontitown require one, and Springdale, Rogers, Fayetteville and Siloam Springs do not. The office will walk you through the process.

Vinyl fence questions, answered

Vinyl fencing is essentially maintenance-free. It does not need to be painted, stained or treated for rot. An occasional rinse with a garden hose or a light pressure wash is all that is needed to keep it looking clean, which is one of the biggest advantages vinyl has over wood.

Professional-grade vinyl is engineered to resist heat, UV exposure, warping and fading. Thomas Fence installs commercial-quality vinyl products, not the lower-grade materials found at big-box stores. It is not immune to impact damage, but for normal residential use it performs reliably for many years.

Yes. All posts are set in concrete as standard practice, unless otherwise agreed upon in the contract. Concrete footings are especially important for vinyl because the material relies on a solid post foundation to stay plumb and resist wind load over time.

Not in every city. Seven Northwest Arkansas cities require a fence permit: Bella Vista, Bentonville, Gravette, Gentry, Lincoln, Prairie Grove and Tontitown. Springdale, Rogers, Fayetteville and Siloam Springs do not. Requirements can change, so verify with your city before starting. Pulling the permit is the homeowner's or property owner's responsibility, and Thomas Fence is happy to walk you through the process.

No deposit is required for standard vinyl fence installations. A deposit may be required for special-order colors or custom configurations. Your estimator will confirm payment terms when reviewing your project.
